Hello All!

Although I’ve been practicing Reiki for five years, I’ve officially been doing Reiki full time since I quit my ‘day job’ 3.5 weeks ago. The first thing I’ve learned is: I’m not “doing anything” I’m being Reiki. Talk about an undoing of old ways on every level. My biggest change is I don’t have to get out of bed at 5:15 rush to get my 6 and 9 year out the door for morning daycare, and start my hour commute. I’ve found myself saying, “Oh boy we left too early!  I’m used to yelling, “Hurry up we’re going to be late!” Now, I make the kids a hot breakfast and we are grateful to have a more gentle start to our day, where the stress and frenzy is diminishing. Yet, I’m so used to rushing that I’ve recently noticed I unconsciously hold tension in my body for no reason other than habit. The other morning I was like, wait a second, why am I clenching my jaw, or why are my shoulders tense? I am so glad my body is giving me the signals, so I can take a breath and be aware of old habits I’m now undoing.

Fortunately I met a masseuse, who I am trading Reiki  with.  I can’t even believe how many knots she busted out in one session; it’s like the Appalachians back there! With that said, I’m learning daily how to just Be and go with the flow since I don’t have the same intense schedule as before. Let me tell you, this is such a challenge for my type “A” control freak tendencies. I’ve switched streams and at times, admittedly, I feel a bit lost and at the “universe’s discretion”. Yet, I know it’s all a part of the process. I am grateful that I am able to provide healing sessions and teach Reiki, it is joyous. I’m also inspired to create other classes as well.

As some of you know, I was just trained in Holy Fire Karuna Reiki, and I am so glad I did. I had reservations about it and did it anyway. I’m in the process of integrating this new, high vibration. I feel the difference in giving myself treatments, and clients are reporting the same. I’ve even felt a difference when giving attunements. I am blessed to be able to work with Reiki and it keeps giving me what I need. I trust Reiki; it is safe, gentle, and peaceful. It is guiding me to create the life I want, and showing me how to live it.

I want to thank all of you that have read this and have been with me on my journey whether our paths have met momentarily or in some cases years. I am very, very humbled and honored to be a channel for the Reiki to flow!  Thank you for your support I couldn’t have moved onward without you!  Wishing you peace and prosperity!  Here’s to making this 2015 as human BEINGS not human DOINGS! That’s what I’m aiming for anyway. As always, I look forward to staying in touch.

Infinite Blessings,

How do chakras affect your life? Writing is a catharsis, an emotional release that can be a very powerful tool for self-discovery. Rhiana has 14 years of experience as a writing teacher, and she is a licensed Holy Fire Karuna® Reiki Master Teacher.  She has combined her writing, teaching, and healing experience to bring greater awareness of chakras and how they affect one’s overall well-being. Chakras are the power centers in the body that energy flows through. In class, we will learn about the seven main chakras and how they connect to the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Writing activities are designed to bring greater awareness and attention to that energy center and how it affects your current belief system and reality. This class is for those that want to learn more about the chakra system and more about who they are through fun and engaging writing activities. No prerequisite writing skills or knowledge needed!

To Register for a class contact Rhiana. Class will be $100 (prepay for all 4) or $30 per class, pay as you go.  Class will be held at 11416 Park View Lane, Hales Corners.
